‍ The worst thing you can do is give it to him.

Still, mileage.

Working tonight, so fancied a lie-in.

Wife woke me at half-five as boiler leaking and kitchen awash.

I'm not a plumber FFS. You up in Morecambe  Chris?

Turned on TV as I was now awake, only to be informed no signal from newly-installed Sky, advising we call out an engineer.

Hinges gone on bedroom window-managed to shut it,  but won't be able to reopen till sorted.

Milton Keynes for most of this week.

Bad enough in itself.

As scheduled to return yesterday tea-time got train.

Delay on way down,  owing to "fatality", which puts things into perspective.

No hot water,  no TV,  no ventilation in bedroom (not a good thing if you know the missus),  no sleep.

Wonder how we coped in Victorian times?

Have we become soft ( and,  no,  that's not a reference to another,  personal,  problem!!!!!)

‍I feel your pain Sudds. Doesn't sound good at all.

No game today which is probably a good thing as Sons party at a play centre. Lots of screaming kids, bring it on.

I'll have the joys of a play centre today also, my only problem with them is all the kids.

They should have adult only ones.

‍They are amazing. Sit back, enjoy a coffee and let the kid play. Perfect for a lazy dad.

‍ One of them is too young to play on his own, so I use it as an excuse to go down the slide.

Actually adult play centres would sound great to me ten years ago. Nowadays it just sounds like a lot of hassle.

S‍ome of the best memories you’ll ever keep.

I’ve always found the greatest gift you can ever give a child is your time.

Enjoy your Lego building.
