‍ The worst thing you can do is give it to him.

‍Treasure the moment. He won't be little forever.

Leeds-Huddersfield-Burnley-Chester-Leeds

‍Preston - London - Reading - Birmingham - Preston.

OK, slightly cheating as was over two days.

Still, mileage.

I can't wait for driverless cars.

‍Train journey this time. Would never drive into Central London.

Can’t believe it! Set off for Southampton at 4 , got here at 8:50. On a Friday night.

Unbelievable!!

Hectic and crazy!

Working tonight, so fancied a lie-in.

Wife woke me at half-five as boiler leaking and kitchen awash.

I'm not a plumber FFS. You up in Morecambe  Chris?

Turned on TV as I was now awake, only to be informed no signal from newly-installed Sky, advising we call out an engineer.

Hinges gone on bedroom window-managed to shut it,  but won't be able to reopen till sorted.

Milton Keynes for most of this week.

Bad enough in itself.

As scheduled to return yesterday tea-time got train.

Delay on way down,  owing to "fatality", which puts things into perspective.

No hot water,  no TV,  no ventilation in bedroom (not a good thing if you know the missus),  no sleep.

Wonder how we coped in Victorian times?

Have we become soft ( and,  no,  that's not a reference to another,  personal,  problem!!!!!)

‍I feel your pain Sudds. Doesn't sound good at all.

No game today which is probably a good thing as Sons party at a play centre. Lots of screaming kids, bring it on.

‍Cheers S/S.

You'll need a beer after all that!!

I'll have the joys of a play centre today also, my only problem with them is all the kids.

They should have adult only ones.

 "play centres" -euphemism?

‍They are amazing. Sit back, enjoy a coffee and let the kid play. Perfect for a lazy dad.

‍ One of them is too young to play on his own, so I use it as an excuse to go down the slide.

Actually adult play centres would sound great to me ten years ago. Nowadays it just sounds like a lot of hassle.

Touring the engineering department at Southampton. Amazing.

Son's birthday today so lots of Lego building and loud noises.

S‍ome of the best memories you’ll ever keep.

I’ve always found the greatest gift you can ever give a child is your time.

Enjoy your Lego building.

Bonfire Fortnight has well and truly begun for the masses of knuckledraggers who don't own a calendar.
It will just be the Cods celebrating victory.

‍ Fair point.

Well chilled after a trip to a vineyard. Tasting wine. Could have been in codland.

‍They've started here now

‍Wow - Twitter is brutal, I love it.

It may be time to revive Lebowski.

‍It's oyston who has the pub team. Hasn't Pilley invested millions into Fleetwood?

You’re far too ignorant to realise how much truth there is in that.
