Crunch home game - 6 pointer.....the Seasiders are in worst form than we are

I wouldn't fancy us having to beat Forest or Derby in our remaining ER matches

When I saw who we were playing on Saturday, I thought to myself. Somewhat ironic, is this fixture - and in a couple of ways.

A few years back, during Bates' - the cheaper, the better - player acquisition philosophy, Blackpool were looked upon as an example to us all. Look what Blackpool have achieved, and without spending big money too. That is the model that we should follow. Let's be like them, just look at Blackpool.

Well, how ironic that turned out to be. Just look at Blackpool now, plummeting towards League One like a rock. Maybe not this season, but sooner rather than later.

And the second irony...we are just like Blackpool with our achievements this season.

Blackpool is a team with more problems, but also Leeds United is in bad moment

would be the good chance for back to victory, but we must be in alert

i would like see Aidy from first minute

For the third home game running we can say for sure 'This is our best chance of getting the 3 points we need'.

Cellino's first home match in charge. Maybe, just maybe…………..

I would take a point as well, it would mean Millwall not only have to win 3 of their last 5 games, but they would need a draw as well, which hopefully will be too much for them. Not confident though, there's a contagion in the camp that's for sure.

Blackpool is playing badly, but unfortunately we are also at a bad time and we need to point

i would like see Aidy for first minute, and Poleon in the second half

They're absolute dog shit at tthe moment. Butland is having a mare, their defence is about as sturdy as Steven Hawkins spine and McCormack is having a dry patch. If there's a game we have a chance of winning, it's this one.

I can see us taking a win from this. Goodwillie to score early in the first half then the most horrible, cagey 2nd half you'll ever witness. Just need to make sure that Matt Smith isn't left unmarked on set pieces.

McCormack is 6/1 first scorer and 2/1 anytime.

Quite a read, this. Blog from a Leeds forum by Rob Atkinson.

"Massimo Cellino’s first home game as Leeds United owner throws up an interesting comparison, as – despite the recent appeal decision in his favour – the Italian remains under the shadow of Football League action at some point in the next few months. The visitors, Blackpool, have as majority shareholder (and still registered as a director and therefore “fit and proper” in the eyes of the powers that be) convicted rapist Owen Oyston. In a further twist of irony, Oyston’s son Karl sat on the Football League panel that shook its collective head, tut-tutted in righteous disapproval and sighed in a faintly scandalised fashion - as it ruled Cellino disqualified under its Owners and Directors rules, for import duty unpaid in Italy on an American yacht called Nélie."

Welcome to Elland Road Blackpool, AND their Rapist Owner
