‍AJ in trouble after round 1. Could be broken nose.

RE: Boxing thread

‍Great fight. AJ did well to recover and what a finish.

Great finish, never going to be easy that fight.

Fury beats Wilder in December then Fury beats AJ in April.

‍A few of AJ's frailties were shown last night but he came through as usual. I think he is still a work in progress, yet has passed every test so far. He needs to take on Wilder or Fury to see how good he really is. Fury is the best boxer out the three but can go down. AJ has decent power and is a better boxer than Wilder but can go down. It's exciting. A fully focused Fury should come out on top but that's a big ask.

‍I thought AJ was superb last night, took some big hits and stayed on his feet. Every credit to Povetkin who came to fight but if you go toe toe with AJ its only gonna end one way.

‍Didn't see it,  but,  apparently,  AJ behind before the seventh.

Donervan Daniels up next?

RE: Boxing thread
By tangerine77 3 weeks ago

‍Nah, AJ was def in front.

‍Just what I read this morning,  Chris

‍I thought he had won 4 of the 6 rounds, drawing at the very worst.

‍I think by the time of the knock out, AJ was just about ahead but as T77 you wouldn't have argued if any of the judges had it level.

I always felt if the Russian landed with one clean hit, it would have been game over. AJ got used to his movement and the Russian eventually tired.

‍Groves and Smith tonight. Don't know too much about Smith.

Smith has got some serious power.

Good fight that.

‍ Just watch the finish on YouTube tomorrow.

Enjoyable fight but not worth £17.

Someone needs to sort this PPV situation out, it's out of control.

‍IPTV - that sorts it!

‍‍Good fight. Smith really looks the part now. I think Groves was surprised at how big and good Smith is.

‍been working so only just got around to watching it.  Great performance from Smith, really did himself proud.  No shame in second place for Groves though coming through some really good fighters in that tournament!

‍These Fury v Wilder press shenanigans are fun. It's clear that they are staged and that Fury has been coaching Wilder on how to throw insults and make a show of every stop.

‍ There's a clip of them backstage before their TV appearance where Wilder pushed Fury and they're chatting like old friends.

Khabib Nurmagodenovedonovovovov wins, then jumps over the cage and attacks McGregor's Jujitsu coach, cue mass brawl.
RE: Boxing thread

McGregor is nothing but a self obsessed cunt. Glad he got his arse kicked.
RE: Boxing thread

There will be a rematch I'm sure.

Mental scenes after the fight.

RE: Boxing thread

I never watch UFC so can someone explain why McGregor's face was hardly bruised after all those punches. Watching the video and the countless punches to McGregor's head, you think he would be seriously hurt.
