It's all just written down in history, that's all it is.

I think you lot need to move on from your one season in the sun, maybe then you'll all be able to calm down a bit and accept where you should be.

One thing I know for a fact is that one season in the sun as you call it hurts you like fuck.

The invincibles? Is any fucker alive today that can talk about it?

Don't worry, you can still tell us all about your fabulous play off record:ashamed:

Whilst he is at it, he can also tell us why Blackpool took more fans to Wembley for a League One play off final. Ahh he already has I remember now. No trains running apparently.

Nobber, those league titles back when the crossbar was made of string don't count. Wiki says...

"From 1883 PNE fielded several Scottish players, after manger William Sudell went on a recruitment expedition to Scotland. The club arranged jobs for the players, and supplemented their income with off-balance sheet payments :eeek:

in 1895, Sudell was convicted of embezzling thousands of pounds from the cotton mill at which he worked, in order to fund players' wages and expenses, though he did not gain personally. The fraud, totalling £5,326, resulted in a three-year prison sentence" :bye bye:

How come the club still have the brass neck to list those titles as "honours"?

Remind me again when did you last do the double over Liverpool and took 4 points off Tottenham?

Was it in the last seven years or are we going to have to go back a bit?

Well I've gone back 70 years and you've not done it.

No shame as no other team has either.

Shame really little to late for most fans new pitch, team on up and all signings getting 2 year deals and maybe even training ground getting work done in the 5 years wouldn't shock me now but the damage has been done for most

So, as long as there's nobody left alive to recount an historical event, it doesn't matter. Awesome.

Pretty soon there'll be no "fucker" alive that can talk about WW2, so we might as well just brush it under the carpet and pretend it never happened.

Preston North End put down the foundations of what today is the most popular sport on the planet. Pioneers of world football. Godfathers. Football Royalty.

Your extreme jealousy will never alter that fact.

PNE, Bolton and Burnley. The 3 biggest clubs in Lancashire. The original glitterati.
