"TOM INCE is in a bitter cash wrangle with old club Blackpool about a missing payment from his transfer to Hull.

Ince, now at Huddersfield, has brought in the PFA and their legal team to fight for his claim that he is due a sizeable six-figure sum.

Tom Ince is in a bitter cash wrangle with old club Blackpool about a missing payment from his transfer to Hull

The wide man was bought by Blackpool for around £1million from Liverpool in 2011, who eventually sold him to the Tigers for £2m.

Ince, 25, claims he was due a percentage of the sale price, believed to be over ten per cent, and has not received it three years after his move to Hull.

Now both parties are heading to a potential court appearance over the payment, with the Tangerines having a different version of events.

Blackpool claim Ince forced the move and lost his right to the cash, so it will be a hard case — with expensive legal fees — to settle.

Ince was loaned out by Hull to Nottingham Forest and Derby, before joining the Rams permanently in 2015 for £4.75m.

He signed for the Terriers in July for £11m and has made nine appearances this season."

There might not be much left in the kitty by the time he gets to court.

Why do the Oystons love the court's so much?

Rape.

Fly tipping.

Bankruptcy.

Suing fans.

Not paying players, Charlie Adam, Tom Ince.

Not paying VB.

The Legal profession must love them.

Yep they are fit and proper owners alright.

I think they must live off the notoriety of going to court on a regular basis

Some kind of thrill

Being a solicitor for Oyston is like being the lawyer for the Gambino Crime Syndicate, there's a new case every week and your client is usually guilty.

willl this have to come from there own bank account or will this one come out the BFC account where the potts and bright money is sitting to pay for weekly losses they are getting .

Also side not but in the next 3 weeks so 10m they have to buy VBs shares off him for how will the courst know they havent used one of there companys to fund it .
RE: Tom Ince

There has been no distinction between company and personal income to date. Who cares, so long as the court make sure it's paid. Their 'other' companies are mostly just bullshit paper-only outfits.

Snippet from the Gazette:

The Gazette understands Blackpool are claiming that any financial agreement they had with Ince was invalidated because he ran down his contract in his final season at the club, during which he became unsettled. Ince did not play for Blackpool again after his father's sacking as manager in January 2014 and spent the final three months of the season on loan at Crystal Palace He played 113 times for Blackpool over three seasons, scoring 33 goals, having joined the Seasiders from Liverpool in the summer of 2011. Ince spent just one season at Hull before moving on to Derby County. He signed for Huddersfield in July this year.

I'm not sure Ince has a case. He moved on a free transfer, so was no longer contracted to us, with a tribunal deciding a compensation figure for training and development because of his age. I understand Liverpool received over £500,000 as part of this too.

He obviously thinks he's got a case though and going on past form, I reckon his solicitors are better than OFC's.

Ran his contract down & didn’t play?

A contract is a contract surely?

I’ve just finished a 2 year mobile phone contract with virgin on a mobile.

Never made a call or anything for the last few months because relations soured with the person I took it out for. (I got it barred, I was paying)

I still had to pay, irellivent of my personal setup.
RE: Tom Ince

Maybe the players are arguing that even without a contract if you sell-on for profit because of the under 22 rule, they should still get a share, after all the commodity you're selling is their skill. I see both sides, but you would think it's come up before and there is a ruling somewhere.

The biggest news for me is that THIS is the reason they are meeting with Karl, not the fact he's just been proved to be an asset stripper of a historic league club.

Always remember Tom and Dad sat in a 4x4 outside Palaces ground like a pair of sales men when Tom was on contract at Pool.
