‍Stormy describes Trump's dick ....

“He knows he has an unusual penis,” Daniels writes in a book fittingly titled Full Disclosure. “It has a huge mushroom head. Like a toadstool… I lay there, annoyed that I was getting fucked by a guy with Yeti pubes and a dick like the mushroom character in Mario Kart... It may have been the least impressive sex I’d ever had, but clearly, he didn’t share that opinion.” So, now you know.

This creased me.  He’s been using this hurricane as a way to look statesmanlike. Now he tweets this himself. I honestly was giving him the benefit of the doubt until about the third sentence. Ha Ha.

Well done her.

The flippancy at the end, from the bloke advocating murdering millions more for profit. “ I think she had her coffee this morning.”

‍ How can a man of his gifted (on a plate) success, and supposed leader of the free world not even string a sentence together.

‍So this happened today.  At 11:19am (2:19pm in the east) every cell phone in the country got blasted with a loud alarm and full screen message explaining this was the first test of the federal emergency alert system. I was in the service bay of a car dealership picking up my truck, a dozen or so phones went off. To stop the horrible fucking noise you had to hit a 'respond' button. There were guys with phones on desks in different areas, mechanics under vehicles, people just staring at screens trying to figure out what the fuck was happening. It was chaotic for about 45 seconds.  That's just 12 of  200 million phones that went off nationwide.

I opt in for local alerts;  dust storm or flood warnings as well as 'Amber alerts' for abducted kids and 'Silver alerts' for missing, possibly lost and confused elderly or the impaired. They make sense and are proven to work well.

The implications of this newly created federal program used at the sole discretion of The President are terrifying and there were lawsuits immediately filed in a few states.

The local alerts sound like a good idea. Do we not have anything like that in the UK.

‍We certainly used to have a system whereby the tv and radio station could broadcast a warning if an attack was  imminent, we also had a civil defence force, regional bunkers in case of emergency where all the  "specialists" could hide, but I believe this all went to the wall some decades ago.

Now days the warnings come from the Met Office telling us some rain or wind is imminent and could be a danger to life, just how did we manage during the winter of 47 and 63.

ps. The  RAF back in the sixties  would practice relentlessly for aircraft to  escape the blast of an incoming nuclear missile by clearing the airfield by at least twelve miles in under the Four Minute warning.
