There’s the article from the gazette

He has been dealing with the Oystons but has been left frustrated after recent communications broke down.

"I have been very candid with Karl. They want to sell the club but keep the ground, leasing the stadium back to the new owner."

“They have active investors interested in buying bits and pieces, but not the football club. They’re only interested in certain assets."

Some interesting comments. Sounds like Oyston is wanting to keep the ground which means he will be around forever more.

People will not return if Oyston still owns the ground which makes buying the football club a risky business.

So will NAPM more then. Anyone who buys the club under those circumstances is in trouble.

They want to sell the club but keep the stadium? The club alone is worth fuck all, what's the combined value of the squad? Half a million? Seems they want to sell a squad of freebies and journeyman for about 20 million quid. Ha ha they are so fucking deluded.

The aim is for a 30,000 stadium whilst Oyston still owns the ground?

I don't get it....

Ground share with the Cods or AFC would have to be in place and plans for a new ground.

More trouble than it’s worth, if the ground isn’t for sale someone is looking at filling out 150 million just to get the fans back on side.

Matt Scrafton confirmed this fan wanted the football club and stadium.

Buy the club but leasing the ground from the Oystons, surely the ground will have to be sold to pay off VB.

I think so as T77 points out that the football club can't be worth much if it's losing money every week. In this case, surely it's worth nothing? Isn't that how Oyston bought it for a pound?

Perhaps Oyston is just taking the piss. Or it's Gazette click bait. Both about believable as each other.

It all points towards Oyston not wanting to sell. The redundancies, moving the club shop, leasing out the space and this person who is saying Oyston is not providing the information.

How much is the name "Blackpool FC" worth? Because that's all they will be getting for their money under Oystons terms. The squad of players is worth virtually fuck all and is probably something you would want to get rid of most of it.

Can't remember. One of Steed's battles.

This guy is obviously ambitious if he thinks a 30,000 stadium is possible. Our ground is just about right as it is. I wouldn't want a 30,000 stadium and it only be a third full. That's if we are doing well as well!
