Lincoln have made some club history, winning the EFL trophy in their first trip to Wembley. They beat Shrewsbury thanks to a set piece leading to a box scramble and a toe poke. Took over 20,000 fans as well! Not bad for a club thats just come back into the League proper. Glad they won.

The Cowley brothers, manager Danny and assistant Nicky, are amongst the contenders for the Ipswich job that Mick McCarthy is vacating at the end of the season. Personally, I hope they get it as it would be nice to see them try their skills at Championship level and it stops one of the same old faces getting the job.

So Shrewsbury only took around 20k too. I knew that Salop fan was a little naive thinking his tinpot team could bring over 3k to Bloomers.

Fuck him and fuck his team, I’m happy the Imps won!!

Great to see Lincoln doing so well and my mates happy they deserve it the cowleys are preforming Miracles that famous FA cup win (beating Burnley etc) winning the national league in the play offs this season what a pair and what a turn around

Lincoln apparently took 27k which is great support for a League Two team.

Before we mock Shrewsbury, we only took around 15k to LDV finals but we have further to travel and they were in Wales.

Also Blackpool has double the population of Shrewsbury and a greater history.

So Shrewsbury fans should be desperate to see a little glory and as for us, the cup was bellow our superior level. Also, we took circa 20k to both and they were at the Millennium.

The att was 41k, if Lincoln took 27k then Shrews took 14k. Snigger.

No we didn't

It was around 16k I reckon. Yes we took 30k to Wembley but that was for a League One play-off final. Certainly can't compare that to a Checkatrade Trophy.

Shrewsbury are a small club. Lincoln are currently in dream land and being and being a big county probably have a lot more people jumping on the bandwagon.

Looks like my tangerine specs might have clouded my judgement, 16/17k seem to be closer.
