Over the wall. St Mirren promoted and Brechin City relegated in the Championship

Some interesting potential relegations. Sunderland and Chesterfield stand out. Southampton and Stoke look doomed.

St Mirren are a bloody good side too, thought that Jack Ross their manager should've been in line for the Scotland job personally. He took over last season with them 10 points away from safety at the bottom of the league, going on to survive and then win it this season is remarkable.

Yep Accrington is a great story and shows anything can be achieved in the lower leagues and what continues to make it interesting. Nice to not talk about budgets and money. Good to see Macclesfield back. Tranmere can stay down there for a little longer.

Huddersfield should be safe now. Tom Ince beat Craig Cathcart to score their winner yesterday. Certainly woke up the Terrier's mascot :D Think that must be young Ince's second goal in the Premier League. Remember when he was off to Milan?

Just seen their run in, I may have been too quick to say they should be safe!

In other news, not really an "up", but City are confirmed Champions of England after WBA just beat Man United.

Great news I wonder what all their Essex based fans will do, they might become City fans next year as location of birth means fuck all to them.

United were shocking. One week they show the potential and the next they look like absolute shite.

Not the way City would have wanted to win it.

Scottish Championship is far more interesting than Premiership.

It was a big deal last season... especially as it became more controversial because Guiseley escaped relegation by ONE point!!!

I’ve always kept an eye out for the Black Cats.

They’re a decent club!

Swansea v Stoke on the last day of the season could well be a relegation game, where the loser goes down.
RE: Ups and Downs
By seasider 4 months ago
Good to see Derby winning last night. That means the Nobbers are 4 points off the play-offs with two games to go.

Blackburn promoted which was expected and the mighty Rochdale are now out of the drop zone. Great achievement by them. Oldham are now in the bottom 4.

Chesterfield gone to the non-league too.

Now you wouldn't have predicted that at the start of the season. They are not happy with their owner!

not ups or downs as such, but from a vested interest point of view this is probably going to be the worst Reading FC finish in over 15 years (19th championship)! :(
