Obviously some shitbags are to blame for this but if the flags weren't cracked and loose to begin with, it probably wouldn't have happened.

No other club in the land would allow this to happen. One positive is that might force the club to fucking sort it out.

Absolutely disgusting.

‍Says as much about the town as it does the clubs owners unfortunately.

Unfortunately where the statue is, it could well be some scrotes from out of town.

Plenty of cctv in that area, hopefully however did it is on camera.

‍True but if the flags weren't broken and loose to begin with, it wouldn't have happened.

Oh definitely! They could and should have been fixed months ago. The lack of care by the scum has no end. But unfortunately they show no shame .

Just finished work and can see there's further vandalism. Couldn't be arsed taking a photo.

The police were called last week about these kids but didn't attend.

‍Does that mean these guys weren't repairing it then?

‍No van there when I walked past,  just some of the flags lifted and soil across the pavement. Would've taken a group of kids 5 mins to do. Or two professionals and a van all afternoon 🙄

Update

‍Thanks Tommy. Looks a shoddy job to begin with which would explain the cracks but what do I know about construction.

So basically they've removed all the cracks one and left it like that?

That's sorted it.

Promenade Construction Ltd?

Hope the bill doesn't come to £25m.

Didn’t the BSA allegedly pay for that flagging? As whatever was put down first was crap too.

‍I am no expert but should the stuff underneath flagging look like that? Looks like the Himalayas so not wonder the pavement was loose and cracking.

From that picture it’s impossible to tell.

It could have sunk , but as it was probably done as cheap as possible, no it shouldn’t.

Dug down with a hardcore base , concrete and then  bedded down with sand and cement. Dry sand infill to finish.

But that probably didn’t happen.

‍Did deep enough and you might find the missing millions

‍Not sure if this is true or not

‍Permanent fix?

‍That’s something my wife would do when she is having a bash at DIY.

Whoever the ground worker is who put those slabs down must be fucking ashamed of his work.

If I had to do a job that badly, I would refuse the work!

Who’s done that? Stevie Wonders guide dog !

That is the work of F.O. O'Flaherty and F.U. O'Tool.
Usually they knock on your front door and give you a quote before fucking up your front garden or destroying your driveway. Also been known to cause irreperable damage to guttering and fascias. I am sure those flagstones are ex - council- they have been dug up from outside the health clinic on Whitegate drive and relaid in their existing plots?
Worries me also that it you turn them over there may well be RIP inscriptions on them.?

Well done Owen and Natalie - you really are a credit to BFC.

‍ He's not.

As for the slabs, they're still shit.

They're never gone look 100% as the others have about 10 years of weathering.
It looks alright now... after a bit of rain

‍Cheap shit for scabs that have no pride. They’re fine for you lot but will need replacing for our return.
