Blackpool v Rochdale, League One, Saturday, 6 October, 2018, Bloomfield Road, KO 3.00pm
Rochdale are the visitors to Bloomfield Road on Saturday which will surely be an opportunity for the Seasiders to pick up three points.
Blackpool are sitting 12th with a game in hand which is quite remarkable considering they have only scored 10 goals all season. The reason for this is because they have only conceded 7 goals all season which is the joint best in the division.
In their last three games, Rochdale have suffered two heavy defeats against Portsmouth and Sunderland and then a draw against Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night. Blackpool will be the fresher of the two teams as their midweek game against Gillingham was rescheduled for another date.
Famous Rochdale Fans
The defender has completed a three-match ban for his red card in the 1-0 win at Plymouth in mid-September. Captain Jimmy Ryan remains a long-term absentee with knee trouble.
The Seasiders are looking to extend an unbeaten run which now stretches to eight games, although Terry McPhillips' side continue to draw more than they win.
Norman had replaced Josh Lillis in goal to make his first appearance in a month, but the two will swiftly be swapping places again this weekend. Tuesday's draw gave Dale their first point in three outings and Keith Hill was impressed by his team's display, suggesting he is unlikely to make too many changes.
no birds again?
You've got Lisa Stansfield - what more do you want?
she has a massive conk.
The match that is, not Lisa Stansfield's conk.
I'm sure she's still living off "All Around The World" etc. and living well at that, so there would be none of this going Dutch nonsense. Fuck the Dutch.
if she was paying you’d be expected to mop it out!!
I’ll pass thanks.
Go on then Hero... just to shut you up ;)

It is but I have my work cut out finding a famous fit female Rochdale fan! For Hero's benefit, I searched the wider public and she popped up. Some blogger.
She’ll do for this week.
Outcast should do his girl v girl thing on the match day thread again.
I can sense the excitement building.
Can't see Rochdale bringing many. Maybe 600 or so.
PS. No comments from Rochdale fans as yet so can't do a 'What Rochdale fans are saying thread'. This looks like their main forum and no mention of us. https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/members/rochdale/forum/. It's the same forum as that failed re-launch of AVFTT.
There is now one comment about the match on the Rochdale forum. Not worth starting a new thread so will put it in here. It a a good one though.
Just a polite request from me on the eve of tomorrow's clash with Blackpool. A good friend of mine is a Blackpool fan and hasn't attended a home game in the last 2 seasons, along with many other Blackpool fans, due to boycotting the Oystons. We're obviously very lucky to have such a wonderful chairman, Blackpool fans aren't so lucky, so it would mean a lot to me and the Blackpool fans if nothing is purchased whilst you're there inside the stadium (food, programmes etc).
Blackpool are a great old club and it would be great for them to have full houses at Bloomfield Road again.
Not a penny more, Oyston Out!

what a great post from the Dale fan.
Nearly 2-1 Rochdale
I thought the Nobbers were never at hame when we were?
They are 1-0 up against the pie eaters.
I didn't think so either. Obviously don't see us as a threat anymore.
They've scored as well against Wigan.
Pool just 24% possession.
Scrafton is saying Rochdale much the better team.
