Much better and good to see Ross Barkley, Chalobah, Mount, Maddison and Sancho in the squad. Southgate probably saw enough in the last game against Spain to realise that there is nothing to lose in calling up some younger players.

Couple of comments. Why is Maddison in the forward list? I thought he was a midfielder? I would have liked to have seen Sturridge back in there but perhaps Southgate wants more game time from him and he is vulnerable to injuries.

I like it. I don't think Foden should get in cause he played against Oxford. Maddison, Mount and Sancho are all getting real game time.

‍Foden and Grealish missing out are discussion points but I don't think Southgate wants to drop too many senior pros at this point. It's a fine balance and the transition needs to be managed.

‍Didn't know the game will be played behind closed doors.

No matter what happens on the pitch, the Three Lions will make history in Rijeka - because of Uefa sanctions against their hosts after a swastika was marked on their pitch before a game in 2015, England's 988th senior international since 1872 will be their first to be held behind closed doors.

That's why it's being played in a 8,000 capacity stadium.

‍8,000 Croatian "journalists"?

‍Watching England under 21's beat Andorra 7-0. Some good talent coming through such as Foden, Lookman, Sessignon and Reiss Nelson. Difficult to tell too much against poor opposition but they did well.

‍Anyone watching? Shit with no crowd. Must be like what the mushrooms hear every week.

Just spoke to that Rockontommy melt that got banned recently for being a blurt.

He said it's a cracking atmosphere.

Did I hear that right then?

They're playing in Nigel Reo-Coker?

‍God knows but at least Henderson will be suspended for the next match. I think I heard that right. The commentators are speaking quietly because of the lack of crowd.

‍Just noticed that Southgate isn't playing 5-3-2 tonight. Still very defensive though with Dier and Henderson both playing.

‍If only Rashford could finish.

‍I could definitely watch Jordan Henderson burn to death.

‍I find myself watching who's worse out of Dier and Henderson. Still can't decide.

I preferred the formation last night but I still don't think it works with both Dier and Henderson. Barkley was coming deep to get the ball and Kane looked very isolated. Was good to see Walker in his natural position.

Rashford will never get to the top level with finishing like that.

‍Drunk England fans smash up cars in Seville.

These cunts really are the scum of the earth. Fucking embarrassing. Cars can't fight back.

‍This guy apparently downed a whole bottle of Sambuka and was rushed to hospital.

‍The shit continues but at least they're not smashing cars.

Think Spain will teach us a lesson tonight. 3-0.

‍Looks like Gareth is sacking off the 5 at the back which I'm happy about.  Good chance for Barkley and Winks to impress.

Wish they would sack Gareth.

‍Gonna get spanked tonight.

‍It'll be Pickfords fault no doubt

‍Can't get the ball but winning! Great to see Sterling get a goal. He just needs to kick on but never does.

‍Ha brilliant. Great ball from Kane and what a finish from Rashford. As long as Rashford doesn't have time to think, his finishing isn't that bad.

‍three bloody nil! How the fk is that happening?

‍Unreal. I predicted 3-0...

‍29% possession and 3 nil up.

Sterling for the Ballon d'Or.

Pickfords playing shit though

‍Does anyone else reckon Kane looks like that kid from Sixth Sense?
