‍Incredible. Never seen that before. 

It just supports the need for VAR. The question is whether Sterling should have admitted that he kicked for the floor? You can't blame him for not doing so but it would be nice to see. I am not even sure the ref would over turn it.

I thought it was a nailed on pen.

It's about intent, and the defender rushing back clearly intended to bring him down.

The fact the ground got to him first is irrelevant.
