Anyone got any kids involve in motor sports?

Little lad wants a petrol quad for chrimbo but I’m unsure.

I presume something like this?

Looks fun! Not sure I would want my kids to have one though.

Yep, I’ve seen a 50cc one for £328, that includes a helmet.

It goes 13mph and weighs 35kg. Seems quite safe if caution is used.

‍ Where did you get that from? Is it online? Do you have a link???

Go on Funbikes.com

They are £259 without the helmet or delivery.

I should point out that it's for me rather than a child.

‍well you won’t want a mini one like my lad.

Little lad came off his this morning, he was going about 12/13mph turning to his right. The problem was the ground was bumpy and it just catapulted him into the air.

I dread to think if he was flat out at 21/22mph  what would have happened.

He is fine and it didn’t stop him from going straight back on. Afterwards he said he was scared the quad was going to land on him.

He has learnt a lesson this morning without getting injured, so in a way we’ve both won!

A side note for anyone thinking of getting one, spend decent money on the neck brace. I’m relieved I did.

Bloody hell. Glad he is ok.

Like you say, will make him tougher and more wise for it.
