You might not have heard of Florian Kohler before now - but after watching this video of his quite staggering trickshots, you'll never forget what he can do with a pool cue.

The 25-year-old Frenchman - usually known by his nickname 'Venom' - is a qualified optician, a judo black belt... and the world's leading exponent of what he calls "artistic pool". Or, to you and me, trickshots.

But these just aren't any old trickshots: the array of dizzying stunts the youngster pulls off in the taster video above and on his DVD will have you wondering what on earth he knows about the laws of physics that you'd never previously realised. And when you hear that internet users clicking on his video have dubbed him "pool's Jedi master", you'll be forced to nod your head and agree.

Amazing!
Apparently there was some guy playing pool while I was trying to watch the bird 😁

‍I thought you'd like the curves ... on both of them!

Was I the only one waiting for the big finish right into the bushy pocket?
I was wondering if he'd pot brown
