That time of year again. Anyone doing it? I’ll give it a whirl but will have to stop for a weekend in a couple of weeks as I’m off to Brussels and I fully intend to enjoy some very non-session ales.

I’ve done it every year now for 15 years.

Don’t do it for any other reason than I hate January.

I’ll have a bash but I’m not taking it too seriously.

No I haven't drunk that much in December so warrant a dry January.

If we all drank in moderation, we wouldn't need a dry January 😉

I usually do a few months at the start of the year, she again this year but starting Monday when I go back to work.

The Mrs said she was having a dry January.

Fat chance with a hunk like me knocking about the house

Ha Ha.

I knew you wouldn't pass that one up

Anyone bailed yet?

Day 6 🤣

Had one beer on Friday night but I guess doesn't count as I'm not trying!
I don’t think I’ve had a beer, I can’t eeally remember though.
I need to quit using e-cigarettes but I reckon that will harder than quitting smoking.
I wish they did a e-pie, that would solve a few of my problems!
I haven't deliberately started dry January and did have a drink on Jan 1, but haven't had anything since, not saying I will keep it up all month but a break isn't a bad thing

I wonder if it's only in Britain where they come up with things like 'Dry January'.

‍we did a story this morning about “Januhairy”. It’s about empowering women to be body confident, stop shaving and grow out their body hair. Call me a dinosaur but it’s not my cup of tea.

Put me right off my weetabix has that.

I’ve only had 3 pints tonight and I’m totally wasted, absolutely arseholed.

That’s the last time I sup whiskey.

Just cracked a Stella open, totally forgot about the dry January thing.

Still two weeks was good for me but I fancy a proper 15/16 cans tonight!

‍I disagree entirely with the idea that someone should expect me to pay them money to not do something.

Maybe I will get someone to sponsor me to not run a 10k.

Sending this message from my bathroom in Brussels after 3 days off the wagon and on the sauce.

Currently suffering with what I’ll euphemistically refer to as ‘Kwak’s Revenge’.

Dry Jan is now back on.

So it looks like no one is sticking to Dry Jan....

‍I am, but it's easy for me, I'll probably go until summer drinking twice (special occasions) then turn full on alcoholic for the 6 months leading up to Christmas.

You got those magic pills now so you don't need booze!

‍They are magic mate. Had some laptop problems yesterday so sat for about 6 hours working it out, sorted now.

I’ve not had an alcoholic drink since new year’s day .

Still going.
Glass of Red last night, Bongo Bingo on Friday - for me it's 'wet' January. I am ok with it though as don't drink loads these days.

Done it!

Might do another month now!

Well done Jezza!

Go and have a binge and drink a whole months worth.
