The club are generating ideas to improve the match day experience so what do BHS members think? Hate the Fanzone idea. For a start where would you have one and secondly, there are enough pubs in the vicinity to have a pre-match beer. I went to one at Blackburn and it was shit. Accrington was good on the other hand.

I think we just need to upgrade certain things. A better PA system and a lick of paint everywhere. For me personally it would be nice if the stewards wouldn't be so strict with the BHS flag. They were looking for the fire certificate to be embroidered onto the flag and probably don't realise modern flags have it as a label. It has made me not want to take the flag again due to the hassle!

And for the people who don't drink?

Fanzone is a pretty shitty name for them, but they are a great idea. It's interesting you say Accringtons was good, but compared to some of the ones I've been to that was pretty shit, it was a couple of sweaty burger vans and a bar serving crap beer.

Best I've been to was at a rugby match at Harlequins. They closed off the whole area around the stadium and had loads of different bars and food outlets, bands etc...

You could make a whole day out of an 80 minute match and I imagine brings in a lot of money for the club and the local community.
Fanzone underneath the old no1 club ( casino) 🤣

Accrington was a bit shit so probably the great atmosphere masked over this. Just not sure where you have one. Bloomfield Road is surrounding by roads and would it have an affect on other local businesses?

Is that underneath the old Paris Casino? There was a derelict building last time I was walking to the ground so using that space could be an option. I guess the club would have to buy the land and building.

Didn’t the club once try to buy it? Tho to be fair, Karl put in a very low offer and was pissed off when they sold it to the casino. 🤣
Not sure but I'm sure it's more an attractive proposition  now the fans are back. Would tidy up the area too.
The club shop and ticket office are too busy so perhaps they need to be separated into different areas of the ground as it previous one.

Didn't they have a fanzone of sorts prior to one of the last games last season outside the North stand? Seemed to fit well there

Best fanzone by a country mile I've been to was a Wembley one when I went to watch an NFL match there  (49ers v Broncos) now that's how to do a fanzone!!!!!

Don't recall that. You sure that wasn't just the queues for match tickets 😉
In years gone by I used to like pre match drink in the old Supporters Bar, later called Mortys. Probably get slanged but think the Cods have a good set up in that Jim's Bar. Big TVs all round, large bar and good food facilities. Also new PA system needed.

What about Rowley's? I went last game of the season and was impressed. I wonder if the Seasiders Bar will ever come back? Is there even room for one now?

I love the idea of a fanzone type scenario at BFC. I think the argument that it'll make surrounding pubs/bars suffer is weak.

If we're to be getting circa 10k attendances as predicted/hoped then there is surely room for both.

The best ones I've been to involve the local community. You could have a Number 10 Ale House stall, an Aarzoos Carribean street food stall etc...

The club really needs to look at the chaos at h/t under the north stand trying to get a pie and pint, if you don't want to leave your seat 10 minutes before the H/T whistle you have got no chance of getting served before the teams come back out for the second half the last two home games of the season me and my pals didn't even bother, that's just throwing money away if they don't get it sorted.

Good free wifi would be a great shout to.

The WiFi completely failed against Southend. You could forgive the club though as not every week they get 16.5k people in attendance!

I would be in favour of safe standing in the North as well. People are going to stand regardless so let's make it safe without the risk of falling over seats.

I would keep the rest of the ground seated which is probably stating the obvious.

No it was definitely a fanzone aimed at kids i think so beat the goalie that kind of thing in the car park by north stand

As it's become a bit of anthem, why don't we play 'Into Something Good' before kick off and then when it finishes Blackpool fans sing their version.

This would be great in the North Stand. The Muckers and co will no doubt stand so why not introduce safe standing. I can understand that is probably isn't a priority right now but would be a step forward in my opinion. They are being installed at Wolves as we speak:

There's only going to be 20 of them.

Walk out music - Either

Or alternatively

You have to let both of them play a little.bit to get the full effect

Blimey - I'll bring the pills if the first song is the chosen one.
And the glow sticks
Got to be Thunderstruck
