He’s already got an established rival in St Annes. No10 ale house has been open a few years now. 
There's also a new cask venue opening on Topping St soon
Selling beer in the UK has to be a hard market to enter into. Convincing locals to change their drinking habits to a designer pricey alternative sounds like an uphill battle. The local pub can easily stick a real ale tap on to please the curious or snobby in the group.
