Ipswich Town v Blackpool

League One
Sat 23rd Nov 2019 - KO 15:00
Portman Road Stadium

Blackpool will take a six-match unbeaten run on the road this weekend, as the Seasiders face second placed Ipswich Town.

Victory for Simon's Grayson's side, who have won four consecutive matches in all competitions, would cut the gap to the automatic promotion spots, however the hosts do have two games in hand on the teams around them.

Portman Road hasn't been the most favourable of grounds for Blackpool down the years, so the team will be looking to change that record for the better and keep up that winning momentum.

Team News

The Seasiders welcome Jordan Thompson, Rocky Bushiri and Christoffer Mafoumbi back from international commitments, though a couple of other players face late fitness checks.

The Tractor Boys head into the match after an Emirates FA Cup replay at Lincoln City on Wednesday night and are set to recall strike pair James Norwood and Kayden Jackson. Luke Chambers is also expected to be restored to the line-up.

Proper test.
Boys and Girls, get yourselves down to Portman Road if you can and let's get behind The Mighty Pool

C’mon the boys. Anyone know when the club shop stops selling tickets tomorrow for Ipswich game?

Went off sale at 1pm today. Can still pay on the gate though. £27!

Thanks for the info - any idea why they did that.

Not got a clue!

I suppose it doesn’t matter as you can pay on the gate for the same money, however it does irk me a bit. The other week I went in and bought away tickets and asked how many have we sold, reply,  ‘we’re not allowed to tell you’, what’s that about!

Don't think there is any point in debating the line up as Grayson is not going to change a winning team. Thompson and Tilt I suspect will have to settle for the bench.

For all the mistakes, probably a good reminder that Tilt is still a good defender. Don't think he will displace Husband today though.

“For all the mistakes, probably a good reminder that Tilt is still a good defender. “😮😮

For all the mistakes, probably a good reminder that Hitler was a good leader 😮

Mistakes could just be a confident thing and easily rectified 😉

Armand Gnanduillet, who is missing with a knock, is replaced by Joe Nuttall as Blackpool make ONE change to their side

TEAM: Alnwick, Edwards, Heneghan, Husband, Macdonald, Feeney, Spearing, Virtue, Kaikai, Delfouneso, Nuttall

Oh dear, that means our only chance of getting points is to park the bus. I think we'll get hammered without the big man up front. We'll end up playing deep and that will be our downfall.
Massive chance for him.
Great turn out here
Fuck sake. 1-0 Ipswich

Nuttall - Fuck 1-1. There's a turn up for the book.

C'mon you Poooooooooool

Nuttall - what a player

Calum Macdonald feeds James Husband down the left, who skips past a challenge before lofting up a cross to Nuttall at the back post - who slams home at the second attempt after his initial header was blocked.

Good on the lad.  I've been a big critic of his but hope he can turn a corner now and start banging them in.
Yeah really hope he can score a few. Will be nice to silence the critics.

Derby 1-0 Nobbers
Pen!
2-1 Pool!
I can't believe my eyes - 1-2

We'll need him when Armband goes.
Just seen Stanley are spanking the murderers 4-1 at the moment.👍
