I've seen quite a few comments on Social Media about fans wanting a new manager. Be good to see where people on here stand. Is Terry McPhillips the right man to take the club forward?
Not done bad under the circumstances, let's see what he is like with the backing of a decent owner, then judge.

Think he deserves another season, he’s done OK with what he had for this one.

Only question mark for me is his team selection at times.

No way can he be judged on this season and if he was, he has done quite well all things considered.

Agree. Very surprised to read all the negativity on McPhillips. It's not as if he has a massive pool of talent to pick from. People are quick to forget the unlikely away wins and points on the road. 10th is quite remarkable given the budget, boycott and uncertainty surrounding the club.

I know it's shit comparing with Fleetwood but finishing above them with their budget shows what a decent season it has been.

Some of the team selections and tactics are a little baffling at times. This is why voted deserves another season and not a full on yes.

Under the circumstances he's done well seems to get on well with the fans and not shy away from criticizing his team you saw how much it meant to him when the fans returned etc and during the supporters trust event

Sometimes his team selection and formation is wrong but he's not afraid to tell the truth he obviously enjoys been here and he stepped up well after bowyer left

Let's see how he gets on pre season etc give him some time without the shackles of oystons

Get rid, poor player selection and no plan B.
Is a plan B even an option with this current squad?

Too bloody true!

I don’t think there’s even been a plan A

Plan A was to survive, he has succeeded at that. Next step is to build a team to compete. Truth will tell next season.
Charlie Adam is coming in as player manager 😂 You heard it here first 😂

We wish. 😂😂
I don't like knocking managers when they are genuinely good people, but I don't think McPhilipps is good enough. He's been guilty of playing the wrong formation, he's played players in the wrong position, and strategically he's often had the wrong game plan. I know we haven't got the best players, but if we had then we'd still not get the best out of them for all the above reasons. Gary Bowyer was a much better manager.
He's done a great job under the circumstances, but it's just terrible to watch. New blood for me when the new owners come in.
Picks Evans which is as bad a decision as sending several thousand Dothraki charging into a wall of dead. Not sure if he is up for the job.

Pretty much sums up how I feel. Just hope we don't waste a season finding out.

Got to agree with Pete.

Terry had to deal with the deck stacked against him, but it seems he performed better when no-one was watching.

Our League 1 survival was due,  in no small way, to the manager's efforts and he should be applauded, but, harsh as it sounds,  I feel we need a fresh start.

Not sure where this has come from?

I saw some “Dude” on Twatter saying something yesterday. 🤣🤣

I want him to go. Can't see the new owner keeping him as the manager.

I want Ollie as much because we would sell 2000+ more season tickets but also I think he's more than good enough to get us promoted.

Holloway is linked with a return to Plymouth last I heard.

In regards to the rumours, no smoke without fire?

He should stay until there are new owners in place. The club needs the stability that McPhillips provided this year. The football may be crap, but without investment I do not see how anyone can expect it to be great at this point. I also do not want to see the current board put a guy in place just to have him removed by the new owners.

My only hope is that when the new owners come in they at least give McPhillips the opportunity to show them what his plan would be with investment. If the owners think he isn't the man for the job then away he goes.

👍👍

Plymouth apparently after him. Some of the comments are a disgrace.

I bet he dosent like that picture

Holloway keen to talk to Walsall. That basically means he is open to all offers!
