He's never been a good manager, just a lucky one.
Don't forget he had Tony Parkes with him first time around and as a young manager he will have been more willing to listen to advice.
Even then you were supposed to be happy that he was keeping you up then Holloway comes in and takes you to the Prem.
Well, there you go.
I think he used to be a good manager but as I’ve said before, after the Sunderland, Bradford appointments... seems he’s just not got it at this level anymore.
That's Grayson's record.
He's lost 27 of them.
So that's 59 points from his last 62 games.
Does he expect to be sacked by then?
Is he gonna miss the Peterborough game for it?
Is it simply a mistake?
So he signs a player who's been without a club for 6 months, plays him out of position, and then complains he's off the pace?
Grayson has never been able to get himself out of a bad run, as soon as he loses a couple he starts picking his team and formation out of a hat and it just makes things worse, then he starts signing players worse than those already there.
It's happened to him everywhere he's been and is best summed up by the run that got him the sack at Huddersfield - 12 games without a win including 6 defeats, a 3-0 a 4-2, a 4-0 and a 6-1.
It's always the fault of the players, despite him changing the team all the time, and when the team was settled they were doing okay.
It's incredible that he keeps getting jobs. I felt sure he was finally done after Bradford but he's like a turd that won't flush.
He's only just turned 50, he's not past it he's as shit as he's always been, it's just that he's run out of luck.
He was supposed to be a genius for getting you up and keeping you up, then Holloway comes in, who's nothing special, and takes the same team up.
