Yeah then got a taxi. The plan was to have a couple in the town centre.
Were you on the same train and by any chance sat on a table seat with one another person? If so, I thought I recognised you but couldn't remember from where!
Yep you were with Ian. Didn't think you recognised me
We were meant to go to Mill Hill but misses the train so went to Blackburn then got a train back.
Saw you stood near the back at the game when I was chatting to T77
The atmosphere actually wasn't that bad.
Agree at least the pool fans tried. T'Rovers lot must have all had their tongues cut out as they only made noise for the 3 goals.
So where are people going now the Fernhurst isn't away fan friendly? On their website it mentions a fan park at the ground?
Getting off at Mill Hill as a mile and a half walk from Blackburn station is a bit of trek.
You got off at Blackburn station bizarrely
England legend. It's a pity England were so weak during his time.
Legend? Not for me. Not by a long way. Scored a lot against poor sides, the same way that Crouch did and got slated for it. Scored a lot of penalties and played a lot more than Charlton, Lineker and Greaves When it mattered in big tournaments went missing. Also he had a go at the fans for expressing the correct opinion.
When I think of say Lineker, I always think of his hattrick in Mexico or goals in Italy, on the biggest stage, dragging England through. But there are memories of him being significant on the biggest stage. The England team in 86 were not exactly world beaters.
What memories of Rooney will I have? None, is the answer. He never stepped up when it mattered. In fact the opposite happened, either he bottled it or he simply wasn't that good.
None of Rooney's generation are England legends. They are all tainted with failure one way or another. Gerrard, Lampard, Owen. Had Michael Owen stayed fit I have no doubt Rooney wouldn't even be England's record scorer.
Piss funny watching Liverpool score in injury time, gives them something more to moan about
Bitters fans, they're all scouse don't you know.
Also John Hills put his kids in villiage tops too. Disappointed
Has it not sold out now. Sure I read something on Twitter.
I don't do Twatter but from what I've read that account is garbage. It hasn't sold out so you should go....and be more sober than at the Noel Gallagher gig ;)
Same shit, worse league.
They've had good weather tonight for the 70's vs 80's night. Me and Mrs C were lamenting the fact there were no bands/acts on that we wanted to see earlier this evening.
We would love to see a band/act we love here on the Fylde coast, but aren't going to hold our breath. Noel G was probably as near as we'll ever get and he's still a million miles away.
Hope everyone who has been has had a great time. It's undoubtedly a good thing for the Fylde coast.
As far as British music goes, you can't/won't get much bigger than Noel Gallagher so I don't see your point.
Unless you want teen shite....
