Really? Most of us on the terraces couldn't give a flying feck whether someone is gay/straight/LGBT with pink spots...
The only people who seem to be bothered are gay people and the press!!
If people started publicy declaring their 'straightness' I would imagine the gay rights groups would be up in arms for insinuating somehow being straight was in some way superior to being gay...
I'm sure that's true,Ragnarok, but there will always be a minority.
I enjoyed seeing both of them on FF today even if it was just an excuse to plug their latest film. :D
17 - 0 to Everton says Stallone ...will look out for that!
(They're 1-0 at the moment)
Duggan’s uncle was the late Desmond ‘Dessie’ Noonan, whose feared family are ‘major players’ in the crime underworld.
Mark Duggan regularly spent time with Noonan before the crime boss was stabbed to death in 2005 at the age of 46 by a Jamaican enforcer working for a Yardie drug gang.
Dublin-born Noonan dominated the Manchester underworld in the 1990s and made numerous appearances in court charged with violence.
There was a TV documentary called ‘Gangster’ in 2005, on film in his own words Noonan said his family were untouchables. He said: ‘We have a lot of strong loyal people around us. We will always have that. If they think they (the police) can take one of us out, they are silly people, very silly people.’
He also boasted: ‘I’ve got a bigger army than the police. We have more guns than the police.’ He went on to hint that he was responsible for 27 murders.
That should never be :grayno:
Trouble is over his death the public have just seen an another example of a policeman telling blatant lies (Andrew Mitchell) so even though a jury of his peers found it a legal killing doubts will linger in people's minds.
There is to be a vigil today outside of Tottenham Police Station....I fervently hope there will be no trouble
Made me laugh listening to the family calling for calm after the way they behaved outside of the court on the day of the verdict.:angryfire:
Watched gravity last night, surprised that Clooney is the first to die and is only in the first half of the film.
Worth watching even if a bit far fetched. 7/10
This film is leading the way in Bafta nominations ... I was a bit disappointed with it - the storyline was a bit boring and dreary and that's what I look for above anything else.
I caught up with a couple of films this week...
The Iron Lady.
Film is so so but Meryl Streep is outstanding in her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher.
Cate Blanchett is superb in this
I'm a Woody Allen fan but this is not his greatest and think it's Cate's performance that lifted this film to good as opposed to average.
Definitely worth a watch for Cate.
As Woody's recent films go I prefer Midnight in Paris over this.
So what the general feeling.
Any radio links please.
A win! :hide:
He couldn't win with this, much like Tom Daly ...if he kept quiet and the papers found out it would be splashed (;)) all over them and he would have been made to look ashamed of the fact and by announcing it some are saying why?
Robbie Fowler said on Football Focus today that he thought gay players would have no trouble from today's terraces....sadly I don't share his thoughts on this.
That! If memory serves me was an Australian television drama . It was made to make Jar dine and the team look like criminal
They were no angels from the sound of it ...that's for sure!
